It didn’t take long to see that Major Melons was going to succeed and fail in the same ways its sister sites have before it. To start with, the site shares the same members area design which is a definite plus. The left hand of the site is a list of categories and navigational links that will help you get through the material. I had no trouble looking up different DVDs, studios and even porn star actresses.

Once I started digging around in the material though, it was clear that like the other sites Major Melons has a lot of older material. A good amount of the library is made up of DVDs released in the 1990s. You do find some more recent material, but I didn’t see anything released after 2005-2006. Even stuff that recent could be hard to come by. If you prefer classic porn and porn stars, this isn’t a bad thing; however, if you are looking for the big tits girls that are hot right now in 2011, you aren’t going to find many of them in the scenes here.

Another thing to Major Melon’s credit is the size of its collection. There are over 240+ DVDs here, but you really have access to hundreds more. In total you’ll have something like 1,912 big tits movies, plus several thousand more from the other sites on the network. All of them will come in three formats, almost without exception. The main download format is a Windows Media file with a good quality playback and a DVD resolution (640×480). The secondary download is an iPod-ready download. The third format is a streaming Flash video embedded directly into the webpage. You can just click play and watch. This is a great feature as it lets you quickly sample scene after scene as you browse for something to watch or download.

Several picture galleries were included in the deal as well. There were about 90 picture sets that had around 100-200 photographs each. They are high resolution for the most part and professionally taken but like the movies, some show their age. You can save individual photos but there were no zip files for downloading entire galleries.

None of the scenes are dated here so I couldn’t tell when the last updates were made. The site hasn’t grown any larger now in several months though, so it looks like updates have stopped. This was the case on the other sites within the Kara’s Adult Playground package, too. Another downer to point out is that all of the web cam links and videos you see all over link out to a third party service. There is no free web cam chats, you’ll have to sign up at another site and pay for the cams.

Major Melons is a porn site best for surfers who like classic big tit porn stars from the 90s and early 2000s. The scenes are good, the DVDs varied, and the site is easy to get around. It is, however, extremely expensive as well, so members would be wise to do some comparison shopping before they dive in.
